“Train like you work & work like you train.”

As you read this blog, I want you to remember that no provider is perfect. No provider who works for any number of years will ever save EVERY PATIENT. With that being said, it is important for us to both FEEL prepared and BE prepared. To do this, we must put in the TIME and put in the WORK. Whether you are an EMT-B, EMT-P, CNA, LPN, RN, PA, NP, MD, DO, DPT, LMNOP, XYZ ...You need to “Train like you work & work like you train.”

I will follow up in a later blog to expand on this topic but for now, just continue to remember... whenever you skip something or take a short cut during your training, that could make a big difference in the future when you are caring for someone's family member. Also remember, I am writing this blog to encourage others but also to remind myself of the things that I am saying to each and everyone one of you!
