We had a Guest Lecture on Correctional Health Services (Prison Healthcare) and she started the lecture with this quote. I have always loved this quote but I had not been reminded of it since being in PA School and this was the perfect lecture for it to resurface. I also had the opportunity to shadow this provider and she does not just teach this but lives by this in practice. I'll keep this short and sweet. EVERYONE in healthcare needs to be a lifelong learner. We will all be stumped by something. It's not a question of if, its a question of when. The only thing we can do to prepare for this is to keep learning, know our resources and know how and when to ask for help. Good luck out there friends and never stop learning.
